Delhi Karnataka Sangha( DKS) based at R K Puram, New Delhi, is a national forum for projecting and promoting Karnataka Cultural Heritage and to interact with culture & tradition of the other states of India and the world.
The first prominent function was the celebration of the India's first Independence day with Bapuji's photo along with 20-25 Kannadiga's procession along the Parliament Street.
Delhi Karnataka Sangha (DKS) Shri N P Bhat with the General Secretary C V Gopinath conceptualized the idea of publishing a house journal 'ABHIMATA' of DKS somewhere in the year 1990.
